We have added the capability to include Weblinks-managed links into your content. There is now an additional module distributed with the package; it is called "Weblinks_filter."
To use this new feature, you must enable the new module and then activate it within your Input Format(s). Within your content, you may then include "[link: title]", where title is the title of the Weblink node. The filter will construct a proper link at that place in the content.

Sorry about this but 1.11 was ment to fix a bug in 1.10 that prevented people from editing an existing weblink only the patch was missed. Include in 1.12.
#278018: Include URL's in search index. Added a bonus for url stored in weblinks to the search system.
#163269: Uninstall process doesn't completely remove all parts of weblinks. Update uninstall to delete a few missed Varibles and to remove the catogory from the system.

This includes some but not all of the fixes that have been found well porting to 6.x. Still working on getting the rest ported but there are some waiting to be ported. However there are some recommend update in this one that should help people with known issues.
Going for a new release record...I added in a feature allowing admins to choose whether links open in a new window. I also fixed (I hope, I've not actually been able to reproduce the error) the problem with the default links page not opening and a problem with a missing "weight" field.
Fixed several url errors, container addition/edition bug, Postgres install problem, and added in a toggle for displaying a link to the Web Link Node instead of the Web Link URL.
Web Links provides a comprehensive way to post weblinks to your site. All links are nodes, which can be put into taxonomies/categories and administered, with options for a variety of different "views". Additionally link categories may be enabled as blocks. Site administrators may also enable "simple links" for a quick way to add a simple categorized links page (i.e. for sites in which users won't be administrating links).
