hey all,

i am wondering which editor is better, FCKEditor or CKEditor?? or maybe you have something else.
on the other hand, what is the best way to allow my member to upload pictures into any topic ? if it has good permissions features will be great.

from my researches, CKEditor is the new version of FCKEditor. but why both of them are being updated.??

I'm not very fond of WYSIWYG editors, and I use BUEditor in my Drupal site, so it's better that I do not comment on your editor question.

When it comes to uploading images I would suggest using Image Field (with CCK) and the Insert module. With Image field you have full control of the images uploaded and with Insert module you allow user to insert the image wherever they like in the text.

Thanks alot, i am going to try your Editor. currently, i am using CKEditor + CKFinder

The CKfinder is the only thing I don't like about CKeditor. I can't see paying for something like that especially the price they are wanting. This feature should be included with CKeditor.
