Some things I've noticed in the newest dev version:
Typos:
When an email is sent with the additional fields, "additional" is misspelled in the email as "addtional."
The "message template" page has a page title of "Dispaly fields" instead of "Display fields". (And why does the page title not match the tab title of "Message template"?)
The help text under the Message template field on that page should have "replaced" instead of "replace" in the sentence that begins "The actual message content will be replace by the content ...."
Email message:
If no message template is set up, the "Additional information" section of the email includes ALL of the fields for the message, not just the additional fields created with Contact Form Fields. So under "Additional information," I get "Your name", "Your e-mail address", "Subject", "Category" (from the Contact Forms module), and "Message" ... which I don't need. I preferred the old format, where the "Additional information" section only gave me the additional fields created with Contact Form Fields.
Also, for "Category," I only get the number associated with the category, instead of the name of the category. For example, if I send a message with the "Webmaster" category selected, I get "1" listed next to "Category" in the email message, instead of "Webmaster."

I fixed all the issues. You won't see default fields from contact module under additional information including the category.
For options, lists and check boxes now you can see the human readable titles instead of values.
