I like this module a lot, but some of the G2 blocks are not working for me. The G2 Alphabar and G2 Latest work fine. The others have various issues:
-- G2 Top displays a block with no content
-- G2 Random does not display a block at all
-- G2 Word of the Day displays a plus sign linking to /node (even configuring the character length to 300, entering a word of the day, etc.) and the XML button, but no word or definition
I'm running a pretty standard 4.7 set-up. I'm not using taxonomy to classify my entries, though...would that affect the performance of the blocks in this manner?
Thanks in advance for any help.

spazfoxchanging to minor bug...

fgmIt might be a configuration or theme issue. Did you :
Beyond this, do you have a site online where I can see the exact code being generated ? (sample site where blocks works is available at http://www.riff.org )

spazfoxThanks for the quick response. Here are some replies to your questions/comments:
- I am running 1.15.2.10
- The blocks are configured, and changing the parameters did not fix anything
- I tried switching my theme (slash) to bluemarine, but this also did not change anything
Unfortunately, I do not have a live site to show you. Oddly, though, the Word of the Day block now appears to be functioning correctly. Maybe that was a caching issue or something? The random word block still is nowhere to be found and the Top block still appears with no content in it.
One other question: I frequently use freelinking to link to other glossary terms in the definitions, but the blocks do not seem to be running this filter. Is this a theme issue or a module issue?
Thanks!

fgmIf a bit of time changed the block to make it work, I suggest you empty your drupal cache.
Also, although I don't see how, it might conceivably be an interaction with another module. But without more detailed on how to reproduce the problem, I won't be able to help you.
I'm not sure what your question about the filter means: to use DFN elements to auto-link, you must enable the G2 content filter for each input format for which you want to have it available, like www.example.com/admin/filters/1

fgmSince there hasn't been any news in over one week, I suppose this fixed your problem. If this is not the case, feel free to reopen it by resetting the status to "active".
