Hello,

Just a small question. It's the first time I use this module and I'm trying to use the 3.x-dev version. I see in the documentation that a session is extended when a user posts content. Is this also the case for the 3.x-dev version? What are the main differences between the two branches?

The 3.x line was written by Rob Loach as a lite version. It is table less and doesn't have all features. The extension when posting content is not part of this line.
