img_assist_gallery displays multiple instances of same image

I recently installed img_assist, and at first it did not display any of the images in the specified directory. Now, it displays the images, but it will display a random number of the same image multiple times (view the attachment). The odd thing is that each instance of the images link to the same node, but some images get displayed more than once. Also, on the server, there is only one instance of each image, plus a thumbnail image.
