I have some RSS feeds which regularly adds several dozen nodes per day. I'd like to get them autotagged. I note from the project home page that "it is possible to Automatically tag all content already present on your site."

It seems excessive to autotag the entire site, so would it make sense to be able to be able to either:

  • Autotag nodes added in the last several hours or days?
  • Autotag nodes as they are added?

It is possible to autotag all the nodes of a particular content type, which isn't quite the whole site. With v2 of the module, you should also be able to set the node to be automatically tagged on save, although you'll need to test this to ensure it works with the Aggregator or Feeds API or whatever module you're using.

Tested this and it doesnt work with feeds. Can re tagging be somehow run on CRON?

It seems that you can manually autotag new nodes, but yes, it would be nice to completely automate this process, eg:

I'll try with rules maybe to achive this, yes feeds nodes are created as you say, not saved so they skip tagging and bunch of other stuff, like posting to twitter or facebook if you want to do that or whatever is in node form...

Talking about this here http://drupal.org/node/970096 but think that dev. of feeds isnt very interested in this tagging developing, not sure why. Extractor module is still in ALPHA and lacks feautures...

Thanx Iantresman!
