for documentation purpose finished items can neither be unpublished nor deleted. To show them on the normal ToDo lists is not the right place. The best solution would be to move all finished items to a new tab sheet and display them only there.

AlexisWilke commentedHi ferrum,
Are you saying that even the author cannot delete his To Do items? Because for me that part works...
Now, if you are saying that in your case you'd want to prevent people from unpublishing and deleting and keep those items in a separate list, that's different. 8-)
Having another list would be easy enough, though.
Thank you.

ferrum commentedI wanted to say: finished items must not be deleted for documenting purpose - but for reducing the amount of entries in the active list there should be a possibility to move them anywhere else.

AlexisWilke commentedferrum,
Okay, I'll look into adding a list. It makes sense anyway to have a list of items done.
At this time, you could also create Views since you can test the current status and thus have one view of still to be done and one list of done items. But views are a bit slow and if you need views only for that feature, it's not a good deal.
Thank you.
