Me again :)
Seems like other issues have been fixed but now I have a new one, I can't see online users in chatbar and I can't click the chatbar to see settings. Using firebug to see if clicking the chatbar triggered something and yeah the div change to "display: block" but displays nothing.
I've noticed that the friends list show when you reload the page or when stay for a while but as soon as the page finish loading the friends counter show "0" again.

quiptime commentedPlease change the issue title part "No chat settings" to "no chat bar options". Chat settings are things that are configured in the module administration.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# The cat bar display only online friends as user list (if a friend module activated and configured in QTC).
# The chat bar has only the available/invisible/busy options if the corresponding settings configured. This means:
Quote chat settings
# The chat bar display the sticky friend list option "Friends window leave open" only if an friend module in QTC configured.
The result of an simple QTChat usage:
If no friend module used and no available/invisible/busy options available (configured) then the chat bar display only the current user status icon as permanent online and count only the online users of opened chat windows. In this scenario has the chat bar no clickable functions.
But, in this scenario displays the block "QTChat" the online users.
# The attached screenshot
You are tested an other theme with QTC?

d4rkngel commentedOk, I've changed the title, and... yes I've configured the chat to accept online status, here a screenshot with my current settings:
quiptime commentedThe block usage
Please click the configure link of your used "QTChat" block and see the information on the top of the block configuration:
But, the default "QTChat" block must show online users - even if there are friends or not, and must show the current user.
The block "QTChat friends"
The advantage of the block "QTChat friends":
The displayed online friends are be updated without page reload (according to the setting of Heartbeat -> User data -> Data time).
The chat bar friends list
Friend relationships exist?
For test: Please rename the used relationship to "amigos" - without special characters.

d4rkngel commentedBingo! I think that I found the problem, seems like QTChat has an incompatibility issue with Hide Submit module, I have disabled the module and the other 2 blocks showed up...
quiptime commentedVery nice that the problem has been solved.
I currently have no intention to lay to incompatibility with Hide Submit.
I work on the two blocks "QTChat" and "QTChat friends" to optimize the display of the user lists.
Task:
Configurable number of displayed users in connection with scrollable block content to allow the use of short blocks with many users.
The next dev contribution makes this available.
d4rkngel commentednice :),
so I think this should remain active until is fixed ...
quiptime commentedI have tested Hide Submit with QTC.
Used D 6.19, Flag Friend, Garland/Corolla,
I can not see any problems! The chat bar friend list and the chat bar options are displayed and usable. The QTC blocks shows online users and online friends.
I can not help you with the reported problem.
d4rkngel commentedDid you configure the module? or just enabled it? 'cause default settings work just for node/* paths so I think you won't notice anything, try to show hide submit in all paths and maybe you'll find something...
quiptime commentedHide Submit breaks the QTChat module is used as "Load options" "Every page except the listed pages.".
What happened in this case? Hide Submit breaks the output of QTC theme functions. The output of theme functions is empty.
QTC uses the theme functions so as it should be.
I can not do in order to solve this problem by Hide Submit. Please reports a bug in Hide Submit.

iortega commentedI am trying to work this chat. My setup is as follows use a Windows 2003 server with IIS 6.0, php with mysql 5.0 5.2.9. The error that appears in the chat log is following settings: Friend modules: Relationships not enabled! Administer the QTC module. However, in the configuration if the relationship is active. Another detail is that the option available, be invisible, be busy gives me javascript error. If someone could help me resolve this error.
