No, this error is too much (please check attached screenshot)!
After activating 'jquery_update' I cannot click on any links anymore without getting this strange 'overlay window'!!! It doesn't matter which jQuery version I use, 1.3.1 or 1.4.2!!!

Error found already: it was the lightbox2 module http://drupal.org/project/lightbox2 -- in combination with the new jQuery library v1.4.2 (and >=1.3.x). I am going to launch an issue in the lightbox area.
