Would be OK to do it, but I would need to be added to the list of developpers to do so (cannot access else to CVS)

Thierry - I'd much rather you make one of the version in HEAD. It's about half done from my goldplating, and will be synced back to 4.7 before I start converting it to 5.0. Whilst I can't guarentee a string freeze in the current HEAD, I can guarentee that it is probably quite different from the version currently in 4.7.

thierry_gd, if you could do this one more time, that'd be great. There are multiple modules now, and I'm just bugfixing at the moment, in preparation for a final 4.7 release. There shouldn't be any more disastrous or major string changes.
