Hi,

I am sending newsletters with images with no prob, but I also would like to include some PDF's as an attachment.

How can I do this?

I tried to add a cck-upload-field, but the file just gets linked to the uploaded file, but it should be attached in the mail ofcourse.

any help is highly appreciated!

I didn't consider code but:
Attaching files is currently NOT implemented in simplenews. It much more is implemented in mimemail module which we use if present.
In general displaying them as an attachment in mail application seems to be missed in its implementation. So this might be needed as a mimemail feature request.

We currently only consider bugfixes for 6.x-1.x. So if you have any improvement for this on simplenews side, please contribute to the feature branch 6--2.
