Hi,

I like a lot the weblinks click tracking url.
I would very much like to be able to use this "weblinks/goto/[NID]" in a token, like:
[weblinks-url] , [weblinks-title]

Suggestion [weblinks-tracking] .
Thanks a lot for considering this!

greetings,
Martijn

Hi,
Thinking this over I think it is a bug. When I use a view with click-tracking enabled, the correct weblinks/goto/[NID] url is shown, but when I use the [weblinks-url] token or , the click tracking setting is not followed.
I think that click-tracking is not working then for fields on which we use the [weblinks-url] token, right?

Solution 1) Have the [weblinks-url] token check the click-tracking setting and show the url as such
Solution 2) Have a new token, something like [weblinks-tracking] which is like weblinks/goto/[NID] if click-tracking is enabled.

Thanks a lot in advance for considering this.
greetings, Martijn

Any news On this please? IT seems that clicktracking is not yet fully implemented. As such that it can't be used by tokens.
i am for other things very pleased with this module, but this small thing I just can't get fixed myself!

Issue summary: View changes

Hi Martijn,

do you still need this issue being solved? Or shall it be moved to the D7 queue?

What is your intended usage of token based click tracking?

Hi,
I do not use click tracking right now, and if nobody wants it through weblinks. I think this issue can be closed, ok?
Thanks for asking. Greetings, Martijn

Version: 6.x-2.x-dev » 7.x-1.x-dev

I have not tested your problem but I think this does look like a bug, or rather an unintended functionality-loss (!). If so it is worth fixing in 7.x, then port to 6.x if it is the same correction. I've taken a quick look at the code and it might be easy ...
