Description enclosed by " " after editing meta-data

If you edit the meta-data in a directory through the "edit meta-data"-page (or just press "Save"), all descriptions in that directory are enclosed by " ".
The "edit meta-data"-page seems to add an additional set of " each time you save. so doing it again (without removing the "-s) will result in all descriptions being enclosed by "" "", etc.
