hi! here is a suggestion list that would be great to see implemented in the next version:

- backups are e-mailed to a custom address
- backups are created (and e-mailed) automatically based on a Drupal's cron task
- splitted backups for system with low php.ini's memory_limit

the latter case happened to me because my host has a memory_limit of 12MB and your module fails to create the backup!

The rest of these items I'll have to postpone for now.

Actually, I decided that I'm not going to implement emailing of backups. My reasons for this are explained in the comments at at http://drupal.org/node/130789

cron is still a good idea, though. I have that on my list.
