I am just wondering if the maintainer would like some help with updating this theme to 7.x and if there would be interest from the community in such a move.

Seeing as I am inexperienced at making a whole theme, I am considering making this into a subtheme of some larger theme project (Adaptive Theme, Genesis, Fusion, Zen, etc) meant more for subthemes. If there's not interest and/or I do not get the go ahead from the maintainer, I will likely work on producing a similar theme for my own site anyhow and just not share the code, though I'd prefer to share it.

would be nice to have this in D7. Would be even better to have this theme in D7 in 3 columns layout :)
I was able to modify this theme to 3 column layout, so if someone wants to help in getting this to D7, I can perhaps give them what I have in D6

I started from the Bartik theme (standard in D7 core), and migrated some of the components to match iTheme keeping the compliance with D7, but in 3 columns (and the main one is automatically resized). Not all components of iTheme are migrated, the result is just half between iTheme and Bartik.
I give it "as it", hoping it will help :)
