Is there anyway to force the links from the flickr linker to open in flickr's lightbox? Right now it just opens to the image on flickr, but I would prefer it just open to the image within the flickr lightbox for easier browsing

Sorry for the late reply.

The D7 dev version opens Flickr photos in colorbox, Lightbox or alike. Not exactly what you asked for, but a pretty similar result (maybe even better).
A title caption under the image links to the Flickr photo page to comply with their TOS.

If you still need this for D6, open a new issue with a request to back port.
