I've put together an html and php code which I inserted in a newsletter, and simplenews does a beautiful job of sending it to my subscribers. It automatically informs them of new content on the site, etc.

The only difficulty is that each time I send it out (daily) I must copy and paste the code into a new newsletter, because simplenews won't let me send a single issue more than once.

I would love a feature that either let me resend an issue, since I have no need to keep old issues on the site, or one that would automatically send the same issue every day. Both options would be best.

For collecting content try a combination of Views and Insert View.
For daily emails try out the Notify module.
