Things seem to be working, but I am getting this error on the register page and page after register

I started with version 1.2 and was getting this warning, upgraded to dev version per this issue and everything works beautifully now. Thanks cyberswat.

I may be going out on a limb here, but it is possible that this issue was resolved and included in the recent October 10th 6.x-2.0-beta1 release of this module, although it wasn't marked as a bug fix listed on the release on this page http://drupal.org/node/138844/release -- I can see where the confusion is in that the recommended development version of this module is no longer available from the main project page. Backups first, but if the latest beta does not resolve your issue, the development version of this module that was mentioned in this thread should be able to be found from the previous link provided.

Marking this as fixed in beta1 and moving this ticket to that version. Once I'm comfortable it's resolved I'll issue the d6 2.0 release.

I too have the error
.. autoassignrole.module on line 461.

I don't find the 6.x-1.x dev version
I have to use the beta 2.0 version?
