Drupal 7 just hit beta, do you think you could port this to 7.x-1.x-dev version. Would greatly appreciate. Great work by the way.

Alun commentedFunny enough I installed D7 last night on my computer with the idea of doing some porting, once I have got used to the differences.
I think its unlikely I'll get anything out this year, possibly a D7 port is something I'll do next year. I'm far too busy with work and getting leaguesite to a point where I can release a proper version!
If things go well, I imagine I can look at getting something for D7 out before it is fully released, we shall see.

AlexDeRuyter commentedA drupal 7 release of this module would be great. We tested this module a while ago in drupal 6 and I we are considering using it in the future but our new website will be in D7.

webtoad commentedI'd also love to see a Drupal 7 version... Thanks for all the hard work so far!

jthorson commentedAlun ... I'd love to chat with you (and anyone else interested) again about D7 league management plans.
Rather than duplicate efforts between LeagueSite and my 'Ultimate League Tool' module (http://drupal.org/sandbox/jthorson/1073590), I think it would be valuable to look at joining forces with the intention of producing a single, feature rich, flexible League management solution for D7 ...
I understand you're currently quite busy, but I'd like to at least discuss the concept and get your thoughts on the idea ... If you're open to it, then I'd like to work with you to finalize a data structure for a converged league management module; as I intend on starting D7 work within the next month or two.
Thanks in advance!

ParisLiakos commentedi am interested on this and i can help.
We should take advantage of entities to build something much more customizable.
D6 version of leaguesite offers very good integration with views.
If the same happens for entities in d7 it would be awesome.
ANd from what i understand 'Ultimate League Tool' doesnt have a d7 version yet right?

jthorson commentedNope ... I didn't want to start a D7 port until I had a chance to chat with Alun and get his thoughts on a collaboration.

jthorson commentedWhile I haven't heard any news directly, I'm hoping that any existing 'league module' maintainers will agree to the concept of a single collaborative 'league module' effort for Drupal 7 ... along the lines of a core 'league' API (which defines the basic data structure) and supporting modules that provide the associated league functionality.
While having actual operating code is still a long way off, I've started to collect my thoughts and work out a proposed data structure at http://groups.drupal.org/node/150659.
