I'm fairly new to Drupal and have tried to implement the 3D Views Carousel, but have not been able to figure out how to make it work. I've searched everywhere for some basic instructions but can find nothing related to setting up this module. Could someone who has a bit of experience with this module please give just a quick overview on how to setup a working Carousel.

Note: I do understand that you need to create a new View that uses this module, but perhaps just do not understand the Views Interface well enough at this point to actually create a working 3D Views Carousel. I'm also not clear on exactly where the new Images are to be uploaded, etc

If someone could provide a few details on what needs to be setup in the Views Interface for this module to work, it would be greatly appreciated.

It's pretty simple really. Just install the module into your module directory. Then enable it in your module admin section. Then create a view with images. And in your style setting in the basic settings select 3D Carousel from the choices i.e grid, slideshow, table etc. Then adjust the settings for the 3D Carousel in it's settings tab. Hit update and save your view, and you should be good to go.

I too would love to see some step-by-steps. The basics are simple enough and theming is very user friendly but I can't seem to get it to play ball when it comes to interacting with the images. The blurb says that it works fine with lightbox, but how? What i'd really like is to do is link to a lightframe window with an external url... some sort of instructional docs for manipulating views specifically for this module would be great.

Thanks from me too!!! very very useful.. but there's still something I can't understand: how do I set up image titles (or captions, as you call them..)? I've tried configuring the view, adding a text-type content as a field, and checking both 'not exposed' and 'exposed', but nothing happens; then I tried adding a title to the cck field I use for carousel' images, and nothing again... I tried adding another field for the whole carousel content type, not working again. I've eventually tried with the 'normal' block title (of carousel block of course) but it only appears when I first load the page, then right after I click on the carousel arrows, the block title disappears. I hope it's the fault of my scarce knowledge of drupal!!! Please help!
