When creating a new node (in my case, a standard page node) as UID 1 with Protected node 6.x-1.5 enabled, the menu link title field is being automatically filled in with my user name.
Possibly relevant information:
Drupal version 6.16
Chromium browser
Garland theme used during content creation
Many other modules enabled.

johntseng commentedI have the same problem on Firefox. I think this is related to http://drupal.org/node/346260
I posted a workaround (http://drupal.org/node/346260#comment-3583348) in that thread that might fix your problem, too.

AlexisWilke commentedI'll mark this as fixed since there were many changes in link with such problems.
I have not seen it happen with my version for ages (which was an enhanced 1.5 version, what you have in 6.x-1.x right now.)
On the other hand, I don't see how the Menu item title could be filled by the Protected Node module. That makes no sense to me. Both fields have completely different names?!
Thank you.
