Release notes

This is the first official release of AT7.

Adaptivetheme 7 is an apical moment in the themes development history - it is now based on HTML5 and ushers in many TX improments. It is a themers theme, but one that can be leverage by site builders for rapid layout prototyping as well. There is an intrinsic workflow built in - site builder to themer. There is more HTML and CSS in this theme than previous versions - what we found from a year of testing AT6 is that we ended up adding around 50% of the classes back in for your average theme. By having these classes on by default allowed us to remove nearly 750 lines of code from the theme - we think thats a big win.

Note that AT7 does nothing special to support IE6, if it works, great. We have no intention of fixing bugs posted against IE6 for this theme. Also there is less support for RTL. The major layout will work, as will most other things, however not everything has been tested in RTL.

There are simply too many things in this theme to put it all here, just the highlights:

- HTML5
- Improved TX
- Heavy focus on re-usable classes
- Smarter region and template handling
- Context aware field and block templates
- Slimmed down starter subtheme
- Revamped Admin theme
