It will be nice if this module checks conflicts with installed modules.
There could be some place which has conflict information between all modules.
Plugin Manager can get that information and check the conflicts.

Does any one see value in this feature?

I'm working on adding this to a side project that will eventually be incorporated into plugin manager. Unfortunately, I don't think that this information is available at the present.
