The Group should be renamed to "Fields" as CCK was moved into Drupal 7 core and renamed to Fields.
Further the description of the module should be changed to:
"Set field-level permissions to edit or view fields in any node, edit field during node creation, and edit or view permissions for nodes owned by the current user."

robloachField Permissions applies to more then just nodes... Works with any bundle (node, user, etc).
