I do not want to use the slideshow feature and have not installed the dfgallery module because of that. Unfortunately, the spot to click the radio button to "disable" the slideshow is greyed out and unuseable. The link to play the photos as a slideshow still shows up on the website and confuses my visitors. When they click on it, the site just displays a blank page.

How can I disable or remove that link to the slideshow so the public doesn't see it?

Thanks,

~L

How is this progress going on? I face the same.

There doesn't seem to be any progress -- it's an abandoned module. I've spent a ridiculous amount of time running Photo Album through X-debug without any success in isolating the "Images Management, sort-by-weight-ascending-when-more-than-one-page-exists, click Confirm Changes, see Images titles disappear" bug.

I suggest either living with the existing bugs, or finding an alternate module (let us know if you find one that is comparable!).

If you plan on moving to Drupal 7 (or 8) in the future, avoid this module.

Of course, some might say that Drupal 7 (or 8) will never take off since the critical mass of contributed modules of D6 will never be ported forward as it is too painful to bother with. (Spoken as someone who's yet again incredibly frustrated with programming Drupal modules and has finally abandoned it for something different. ;)

It is definitely a bug. The slideshow is enabled by default whether dfgallery is installed or not and if dfgallery is not installed there is no way to disable the slideshow because the form value to do so is disabled.

A workaround is to install dfgallery and then disable the slideshow feature and then uninstall dfgallery - make sure to clear cache after.

This will be fixed in the D7 version.
