Canvas Page theme same as on main site although selected different in FB4D settings

Everthing is working great. I've read through all the troubleshooting and readme.txt. For some reason I can't get the theme I select on the canvas settings in FB4Drupal to show up on facebook. When I set that theme to the default theme for my site it does work in facebook, but when I try and use two different themes facebook only pulls up the theme for my main page. I'd like to use a smaller fixed width theme for facebook.. I've modified the Framework theme to do this. I've also tried what discussed in this thread: http://drupal.org/node/864078, but i'm not having a problem with the canvas page being displayed... only the other theme is not showing up.
