The RDF module interferes with the Pathauto module, as proven on http://drupal.org/node/977402 - "No pattern configuration available (RDF module interferes!)".

As soon as the component RDFx is activated, it deletes the pattern configuration page of the Pathauto module. Please check screenshot http://drupal.org/files/issues/screenshot_drupal-pathauto-patterns-missi... .

Confirmed, although this is a duplicate of #976340: RDFx causes mayhem by using url() before all modules are loaded
