I have code which depends on project numbers, which are present in Case Tracker 5.x, but apparently removed without trace in 6.x. As I cannot change my code easily (these project numbers were publicly displayed to and considered stable by users), I am wondering whether it would be possible to somehow reproduce this number from other available data?

Also please consider documenting future changes that lead to loss of data and functionality.
