Issue Summary
I am using a colorable theme. Whenever I click on a tab in quicktabs that I have load via ajax, my background color is changed.

This is happening as well with the Pixture Reloaded theme which is also colorable. As far as I can tell it happens only with Firefox and not IE. When I click on a tab using ajax to load, the rest of the site switches to the default color scheme of my theme. Clicking on any other tab does not restore the normal color scheme.
I'm going to see if there is a way to fix this using CSS but in the meantime I'm going to have to give up the ajax loading which is a shame because it makes my page really slow to load.
I love this module, thanks for the work and I hope you can look at this!
Edited to add: I'm using version 6.x-2.0-rc5
I just realized on further inspection that it may be happening only with tabs that contain other tabs and are using ajax.

The same is happening to my site as well.
I am using Garland, with custom colour.
QuickTab keeps changing my site's colour back to default, i.e. blue.
This theme colour change issue occurs with 6.x-2.0-rc5 as well as 6.x-3.x-dev

any updates? has anyone else solved this.

This happens in both IE and FF. Theme color changes when a tab is selected. Using Pixture Reloaded. Anyone have a work around yet?

Quicktabs doesn't do anything relating to theme colours.

While quick tabs does nothing with color, Ajax does effect it.. I think there is something in the Ajax call which does effect the color of a site. Several people on this thread have reproduced this issue.

Right, but what I'm saying is that there's nothing specific in what Quicktabs does during an ajax call that can reasonably be held responsible. All it does is make an ajax request to a menu callback that delivers some content. If this Pixture Reloaded theme loses its colour just because an ajax request was made then surely the bug is with the theme. I don't have time to try to reproduce every issue involving some 3rd party theme or module, and so it has to be up to those reporting such problems to explain why and in what way Quicktabs is at fault.

This is still happening even with the latest quicktab version.

Anyone find a way to fix this yet? I'd love to use Quick Tabs, but I'm using Pixture Reloaded w/ custom colors and when I switch tabs I get PR's default pink color scheme.
