Issue Summary
Is there a way to use this module with drupal 5 beta1? thank you

I've had a go at updating this module for 5.x myself. I suspect that on a system upgraded from 4.7 to 5.x, the attached patch would display existing taxonomy_blocks. However, I only have a clean install of 5.x to test on and it's not letting me create new taxonomy_blocks.
The attached patch therefore may or may not help you.
