#D7CX: I pledge that Block edit theme will have a full Drupal 7 release on the day that Drupal 7 is released.

Using non-intrusive jQuery techniques the Block Edit module provides inline (on mouseover) editing capability for any block.

Got too many blocks to be hunting them down in the blocks listing? Want to be able to edit a block from a Drupal page directly? This is the module for you.

Users must have the "administer blocks" permission to use the features of this module.

Note: Block Edit module only works for standard Drupal themes in which blocks are themed so that containing divs have id attributes in the form block-[module_name]-[delta]. Most themes on drupal.org are done this way, hence the adjective standard.

Blocks generated by Views are handled differently to other blocks. If you have a block View without any header the links can overlap. In these cases the configure link will be appended to the admin hover links provided by Views.
