Any user on IRC who knows a bot's IRC handle can interact with the bot in a private chat. Bot Leash stops the bot from talking to strangers (users who are not in an IRC channel the bot itself is already on). This is useful if you use the bot in a private channel on a public IRC server, and other users on the server are not trusted.
Requirements
- Bot.module
- Drupal 6 only: You will need to apply the following patch to the Bot module: http://drupal.org/files/issues/918966-6.x-1.x.patch. See #918966: Drupal 6 backport of bot.smartirc.inc & hook_irc_access() for reference.
