This project is the frontend to the CKAN Data Hub software. CKAN is software for governments and organisations to publish open data. CKAN intends to endorse Drupal as a supported frontend.
This project has been developed with the help of OKFN and the data.gov.uk team.
The development branch will start with us publishing the code from data.gov.uk . The code is not of good quality but we are committed to publishing it for historical reasons and in the hope that it may help other CKAN users. You can find the code in the ckan_dgu branch.
Development will then continue with a reference implementation, featuring:
- Views Integration
- Flexible publisher hierarchy
- Package security model
We would love to hear from other drupal CKAN developers.
