Garland was removed from Drupal core as of Drupal 8 as part of the Platform Initiative. This project is meant as a fork of the Drupal core's version of Garland to keep Garland alive and kickin'.

Garland was originally created by Stefan Nagtegaal and Steven Wittens.

Branches

8.x-1.x aims to be a straight port to Drupal 8, with no new features except where necessary.
8.x-2.x introduces changes such as CSS gradients instead of background PNGs and a responsive layout.
