Note About Recent Changes to Google Reader (November 1, 2011)
Google recently changed Reader and removed the Share option, replacing it with the ability to +1 posts in Google+. This pretty much means the end of this module; no more updates will be made to it.

Pulls your shared items from Google Reader for display in a block.
Google Reader does offer a means to embed Javascript in your page to show your shared items, but there's no reason that this should be requested on every page load. Speed up page load by using this module to cache your shared items.
This module adds a new block called "Google Reader Shared Items." Edit this block to paste in the share code from Google Reader and select how many items should be shown in the block.
