Hackpad

Integrate the Hackpad service with your Drupal site. Hackpad is a hosted service based on the old Etherpad code allowing collaborative editing of documents in a manner similar to Google Docs.

Planned features include:

• Basic API to allow module developers to embed a pad directly into a site
• Creation of a widget for Text Field API fields to use Hackpad as the editing widget
• API callbacks to allow Drupal to index the contents of pads and store "pure HTML" versions of them for display throughout the rest of the site
• Integration with node access controls to ensure that users can't directly edit pads that aren't associated with nodes they have access to edit
