Holiday Overlay is a simple module with a simple purpose: On a day of your choosing, an overlay will appear to all your site's visitors displaying a message you set.
The module comes configured for Christmas as an example, but you can set the overlay to be displayed on any day of the year. You can set the message to be displayed on the Holiday Overlay settings page.
All styling of the overlay is easily overridable via CSS, and you can put whatever markup you want inside the overlay.
Installation
Install like you would any other module. Add a message and set the date of the holiday during which you'd like the message to appear on the configuration page at: admin/config/system/holiday_overlay.
