This module parses a robot database from http://www.robotstxt.org/dbexport.html into the drupal database will update weekly. Then you can call the function is_robot() witch will return true or false if the requester is a robot. You can optionally call is_robot(true) and Is Robot will return information about that robot if the request is a robot.
