This module is obsolete. As JapanSoc.com is no longer in service, this module has no usefulness.
The JapanSoc module allows you to insert in any node's body a "Soc It!" voting button provided by the JapanSoc.com service.
To insert the button, simply enable the filter for the input format you normally use, and add [japansoc], [japansocleft], or [japansocright] in the body of the node to insert a normal button, one floating on the left or right, respectively. On the module's settings page, you can also select which content types should display the button automatically.
A plugin for WordPress is also available. The format used in that plugin is also supported (although discouraged) by this plugin. (Useful if you wish to import your WordPress content into Drupal.)
For more information about the button, read "How do I embed a voting button in my blog?" in JapanSoc's FAQ section.
This module was initially developed for the Edojin Web site.
