This module is the standard http://drupal.org/project/diff module except instead of only providing a 2 column difference view for revisions it provides a user selectable option of either using 2 column or inline difference view (similar to what MS Word uses).
This module requires the Pear Text_diff class be installed.
This project was designed by LiquidCMS and funded by LifeWire, a NY Times Company.
Drupal 6
From the release notes for Dr6 version of the original Diff module (which this module spawned from): http://drupal.org/node/434438 it sounds as though this functionality has been incorporated into the existing Diff module.
Therefore, no need to port this over to Drupal 6. However, client that originally sponsored this work is porting all its modules over to Drupal 6 in the next couple months (should be done by end of Sept/09). If current Diff doesn't sufficiently provide the functionality that was provided by Lifewire_Diff, we will do a port to 6.
