This is an take action module to send email/fax messages to political & corporate targets.
It was a port of Back-End.org's eAction module. This module includes code for sophisticated screen scraping to capture information about targets. The original code was also developed it to send messages via either email or fax (myfax.com or hylafax). Multiple actions can be created using this module targeting different individuals.
This module presently requires CiviCRM as all participants in the online action are stored there. Unfortunately, development on the lobby module has not continued and there is not a plan to release a 5.x version.
The core functionality of this module has been essentially replaced by our new Connect module that leverages the power of CCK field types to allow organizations to create a great variety of take action pages.
