Prediction Markets

This is a prediction market (AKA event derivative or idea future) module for Drupal. It is currently not completely functional. The development of this module is being done completely in the open as a learning tool as part of the Drupal Dojo. See the proposal for more information. The goal is to provide a free, open source, prediction market tool enabling anyone to build their own prediction markets for education, entertainment, profit, or all of the above.

Requirements:
CCK, number, nodereference, text, optionwidgets, Userpoints and Userpoints No Negative Userpoints Contrib, PressFlow Transaction, Workflow, views, Automatic Node Titles, token.

Eventually it will probably also need or provide additional functionality via integration with: an image/charting module, subscriptions, sms framework, and a few other modules. From that list you can get the basic idea: create a stock-market-like module with full reporting and alerting capabilities.

Development status: this module is still relatively early in the development process though it is just now at a usable stage it may still have many bugs. You should only use it on a test site that is a brand new installation.

This module should only be installed on a brand new site. It assumes that almost no configuration has been performed on the site prior to the installation of the module.
