Media Zencoder

This module allows users to configure the Zencoder service to create new derivatives of a video file. While Zencoder support is included in the Video module, Video is not yet compatible with the rest of the Media framework.

This module requires a Zencoder account and utilizes Steve Heffernan's Zencoder API PHP Library.

Unlike Video's Zencoder support which is integrated with the rest of Video UI, fields, and configuration options, this module will only handle creating new media files with Zencoder and is designed to be used in many different configurations. At a minimum, you will need to configure additional modules to handle playback for the any new video files you choose to create based on the codecs. Think of this an external GDImage for video.

This module is dependent on the Derivative API Janez Urevc is developing as part of the Google Summer of Code 2011 and should only be used by developers wanting to test the API at this point.
