Mobile services module aims to utilize the information in Drupal Views and Content Types too allow accessing your Drupal site via the services interface on a mobile phone. The module will provide the ability to describe content and views to the mobile application and from the mobile application be able to display dashboard, tabs, create new content, upload images / files and gps information if required.
The mobile application is being developed seperately for association with this module however the application is being designed so you can take any view and describe the view too the mobile application and it will know how to display it in a dashboard style.
