This module allows a group_content entity (any entity with a group_audience attached to it) to also contain a reference field to role(s) within the selected audience.
"og_role_field" integrates well with:
- Rules
- Grant a group role on checkout using Drupal commerce
- Grant a group role on a specific event
- Use rules_scheduler to remove a group role after a certain amount of time
- Views
How to use it
- Add to your drush make or install on a present site with Organic Groups.
- Enable the module.
- Go to the OG field settings page.
- Attach a "group_audience" field to the Entity of your choice.
- Go to your entity or bundle, and add this field to it.
- Choose the form field widget type of your choice: [checkboxes, or an autocomplete].
