This module was written for Drupal 5 and not updated for ten years ... It was planned to be a layer between Drupal and Shindig.
Basically, Shindig will be able to ask Drupal for list of users, application placement, activities etc.
For relationships, the module will use a plug-in architecture so that any friend-like module will be usable.
For Activity, nothing is decided yet. However, please expect a very open architecture.
This project is at its very initial stage.
