The packager module enables a Drupal installation to build a local Drupal distribution with extra languages and modules. It was first developed for the Dutch Drupal community to allow its users to install Drupal in their language without having to download anything extra. I encourage other Drupal communities to use this module to provide their local community with a Drupal installation in their local language.
This module can also be useful for Drupal developers that want to have a local Drupal archive with their most used languages and modules. Since it monitors the versions of all included modules you will always have an up-to-date archive with the latest version of Drupal and your selected languages and modules.
Currently only works on Linux based systems and requires system() calls.
