A set of plugins necessary to build up the peer review system, which allow rating of contents and rating of user interaction with the system.
This package contains the following plugins:
user_karma_peer_review
Dependancy: user_karma, voting_api
This module is a plugin for user_karma. It provides a settings panel reachable from a tab inside the user_karma settings page.
With this module you can easily add the default user roles that will be used by the peer review platform and you can set up the amount of karma that will be added/removed when a user do some specific actions on the system (rate a content, flag as offensive, mark as accepted).
This module changes the default karma recalculation of user_karma to fit its needs.
user_karma_offensive_flag
Dependancy: user_karma, voting_api, user_karma_peerreview, flag
This module is a plugin for flag. It removes karma to the author if a content is marked offensive a certain amount of times.
The amount of times and the amount of karma are customizable inside the settings page.
user_karma_accepted_flag
Dependancy: user_karma, voting_api, user_karma_peerreview, flag
This module is a plugin for flag. It adds karma to the author if a content (it fits best when talking about an answer) is marked as accepted.
The amount of karma is custumizable inside the settings page.
peerreview_answer_block
Dependancy: riat
This module display a node/add form below the question node, after the view that report the answers. This enable a user to quickly post a new answer without changing page.
In order to set up the peer review platform for Drupal you need all this plugins and the Drupal Peer Review Install Profile (http://drupal.org/project/peerreviewprofile).
This project is part of the Summer Of Code 2009.
Why there are no releases yet?
Because there is a module, which is needed by the peer review platform, that is not yet ready to be released. While developing I used an old version of this, when it will be released as stable it has to be integrated with the rest of the system.
In the meantime I focused myself on vote up/down 1.x, which has a lot of cool new features and is required for the peer review platform.
Now I'm working to put up a demo of the project, but new features and a full and easy documentation will be online soon.
