The Shipwire Ubercart module links your Ubercart store with the Shipwire shipping service. Integration includes real time shipping rates for orders, automated fulfillment of shipments, shipment status tracking, and product stock level synchronization. Shipwire is a total solution for global product distribution and much more than a simple shipping service.
How it works
Shipwire is a total replacement for an in-house shipping department. After creating a Shipwire account you send your products to Shipwire's warehouses distributed around the world. When a customer goes through checkout Shipwire will check stock levels in all warehouses and generate optimal shipping quotes. When the customer completes checkout a shipment request is sent and Shipwire handles picking, packing, and shipping the products. At various stages tracking information is updated to keep the customer informed.
Shipping Carriers
Shipwire uses major shipping carriers from around the world and selects the cheapest and fastest shipping options automatically. Carriers current include: Canada Post, Con-way, DHL, FedEx, HongKong Post, Hermes, Parcelforce, Purolator, Royal Mail, TGX, TNT, UPS and USPS. The list continues to grow and there are also possibilities to use other Third party carriers if these do not meet your needs. Shipping rates are typically lower than rates offered to small businesses by these shipping carriers.
Reporting problems
This module was developed by Coda. For fastest resolution of problem with the module please report problems to the issue queue on the right. Please note that Coda does not have access to your Shipwire account and cannot resolve problems with accounts or individual orders. When posting issue please make sure to never post your account information.
